Lindsay Starck was born in Wisconsin and raised in the Milwaukee Public Library. She went on to study literature and writing at Yale, Notre Dame, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently teaches at Augsburg University in Minneapolis.
Noah's Wife is her first novel. Her short prose has recently appeared in Ploughshares, The Cincinnati Review, The Southern Review, and The New England Review. Her academic articles have been published in Modern Fiction, The Journal of Modern Periodical Studies, and Adaptation. She is currently at work on two projects: a monograph entitled “News that stays news”: A Poetics of Modernist Gossip, and a Slenderman-inspired novel called Monsters We Have Made.
